Another Trip to the E.R.

At the end of March, the last day of the month to be exact, our precious daughter decided to make life ever so adventurous for us by falling while in her braces. While standing with her walker and braces she somehow fell over backwards and hit her head on the hardwood floor, knocking herself unconscious. When I picked her up to check on her, her lifeless body hung in my hands while her lips turned blue. Bill called 911 while I tried to bring her out of her unconscious state. When the paramedics arrived, she was alert. They told us they could transport or we could transport but that she needed to be taken to the hospital so we opted to transport and took her up to Portland to be seen at the hospital where all of her doctors are. They did a CT scan and checked her over. She had a concussion but other than that, she was fine so we were discharged and told what to watch for. This day ranked right up there as one of the scariest days of my life.
